Words like 'optimize' and 'customize' are shown as misspelled in UK English, which is wrong. The Oxford spelling, which is widely used, recognizes the -ize spelling of words that come from the Greek -ιζειν, so both -ize and -ise are correct for those words. The -ize is arguably even more correct.
