Error reading Word document while checking for Plagiarism and AI

I'm attempting to conduct a plagiarism check and AI detection on a ".doc" file, specifically a Word document containing 3000 words. However, I'm encountering an error message. I'm aware that there's a 6000-word limit for the document. Additionally, I've noticed that converting the document to PDF allows for the check to proceed. What could be causing this error?

    Hey Andrei, the error message could be triggered by various factors: images in your doc file, formatting of the file etc. As you said, if you convert the file into PDF, it allows the check to proceed, so the issue comes from the file formatting obviously.
